About
Hi, I’m Rebbecca
I'm a former enterprise UX designer who now supports small, independent, values-driven businesses with the practical work of running and improving their email marketing systems. This often includes email platforms, websites, landing pages, and the tools that support them, with a focus on implementation that lasts and a commitment to consent-based practice.
Where I’m coming from
I spent several years designing and shipping enterprise software in distributed teams. That work trained me to step into complex systems, operate within implementation constraints, and move things forward. I still enjoy the puzzle of tech and am comfortable working across different tools and environments.
I moved into this work to focus more directly on the intersection between a business and the people it serves.
What it’s like to work together
I keep engagements scoped. We clarify what matters, what "done" means, and what can wait. You'll know what's happening; I share updates and flag decisions early.
Once we're aligned, I work independently. You are not managing me day to day. I document what matters, so you get notes, settings, and handoffs you can reuse.
And if something isn't worth doing, I'll say so. The intention is to make the work easier, not heavier.
Personal, briefly
I’m based in Seattle and work primarily remotely.
Outside of work, I maintain a studio painting practice. Art remains one of the primary places where I explore curiosity, attention, and long-form process without the pressure to immediately resolve everything.
I’m especially drawn to projects, ideas, and conversations that unfold gradually over time.
If you’d like to see what I offer
Start with Services. If you already have a specific need, you can schedule a call. I’ll tell you if I’m not the right fit.
A few other things
-
Inquiry
Curiosity is probably the most defining thing about how I operate, and inquiry is what it looks like in practice.
Human-centered design
Human-centered design is a working discipline, not a buzzword. It starts with understanding what people actually need in context, then shaping what's created so it is usable in practice. I've worked this way across different roles and environments for many years.
Relationships
Relationships are a form of care. I don't think that's a small thing, especially now. I bring that into the work, not as a sentiment, but as a practice. -
I do not use fear, false urgency, or manufactured scarcity. My work favors transparency, informed choice, and respect for the person on the other side of the screen. If you are seeking aggressive or pressure-driven marketing, I am likely not the right partner.
